Subject: [MWBWG] PhD Assistantship - Effects of forest management on bat health


Dr. Diana Hews, in collaboration with the Center for Bat Research, Outreach, and Conservation at Indiana State University, seeks qualified candidates for a Ph.D. graduate position to begin in May 2019. The student’s research will focus on the effects of silviculture on the health of Myotis bats, and in particular the federally-endangered Indiana Bat, Myotis sodalis. Applications will be considered as they are received, but are due no later than Feb 1, 2019.
