Hello fellow bat researchers,
                For the last five years I have been monitoring two dozen sites in northern Arkansas used by eastern small-footed bats as roosts from April-November.  About half of these are maternity colonies with 10-30 bats in them and the remainder are irregularly used by a few bats.   In most summers I’ve caught between 100-150 individuals, many of which are recaptured several times over the course of the season.

Since it is unusual to have access to this many locations where this species is easily and reliably captured, I’d like to make the best use possible of this resource.  So, I’d be interested in working with anyone who has a need for biological samples of some kind from this species.  Unfortunately, I can’t offer any money to support your research, but I can collect the samples for you if supplied with the necessary supplies.
