WEST is seeking mist-netting technicians for the 2017 summer season. Work will begin mid May and go until the end of August with the potential into the fall. Technicians will work with a permitted bat biologist performing presence/absence surveys for threatened and endangered bats in the midwest and eastern US.  Beyond mist-netting surveys may include, telemetry, roost surveys, emergence counts, acoustical surveys and habitat assessments. Highly motivated and independent individuals are encouraged to apply.
