MIDWEST BAT BIOLOGIST:  Ecology and Environment, Inc. is a fully integrated environmental consulting firm committed to supporting sustainable development through responsible environmental stewardship. We are seeking a Bat Specialist in our Chicago or Kansas City office.  This position will be responsible for conducting a variety of bat surveys including bat habitat, bat acoustic, bat mist-net, radio-telemetry, and emergence surveys.  Post-construction bat mortality monitoring surveys at operating wind energy facilities may also be required. Our successful candidate will have experience with bat survey methodology and endangered bat species identification, both acoustically and visually.
