The 2nd Annual Ohio Bat Working Group Meeting will be on December 10,
2012.  Details of the meeting are below.

10-10.15: Welcome (ODNR, Division of Wildlife)

10.15-10.45: Summit County Metro Park's Bat Monitoring Program and
Long-Term Datasets- Marlo Perdicas  and Mike Johnson (Summit County
Metro Parks)

10.45-11.15: Bat Information and Education Programs Across the State-
Jamie Emmert (Division of Wildlife, Wildlife Communication Specialist) 

 

11.15-11.45: Ohio's Statewide Acoustic Routes-  Meaghan Hughes (OSU) and
Jennifer Norris (Division of Wildlife) 

 

11.45-12.45: Lunch**

 

12.45-1.30: Update and Discussion on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Bat
Acoustic Protocols-  Keith Lott (USFWS) and Katrina Schultes (USFS)

 

1.30-2.00: Bat Exclusions- Marne Titchenelle (OSU Extension)

 

2.00-2.15: Break

 

2.15-3.00: Species Profile: Small-footed Bat (Myotis leibii)- Jason
Whittle (Summit County Metro Parks)

 

3.00-4.00: Agency Updates (DOW, USFWS, USFS) and Announcements (ALL)

* Agenda will be updated for date of meeting

** Lunch will not be provided.  Similar to last year we request that you
brown-bag your lunch or grab carry-out from nearby (some options nearby
include Wendy's, Chipotle, Arby's, Mark Pi's, Tim Horton's).   The lunch
hour will give us time to discuss any additional items.
