Subject: KBWG - 9-month internship with KDFWR

KDFWR is hiring a 9-month intern as a Wildlife Technician II under the bat program.

Description:  primary duties may include, but will not be limited to, assisting with the following: data entry, winter bat population monitoring, WNS surveillance and monitoring, acoustic monitoring equipment deployment and retrieval at select hibernacula, bat maternity site monitoring, acoustic transect routes, mist netting and harp trapping.   Qualified candidates should have experience in the following: winter bat identification, proper bat handling, Anabat or other acoustic equipment, in-hand bat identification, and Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

Timeframe: October 1- June 30
