The School of Family Studies & Human Services within the College of Human Ecology at Kansas State University is seeking an* Assistant / Associate Professor* in *Personal Financial Planning*.  This is a 9-month, 100% time, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on campus and on-line courses as required for the CFP core curriculum in the Personal Financial Planning B.S., M.S., Ph.D., and graduate certificate programs. In addition, the successful candidates will (a) chair and serve on M.S. and doctoral committees; (b) conduct and publish research in refereed scholarly journals related to family and consumer financial behavior and related personal financial planning and financial therapy topics; (c) advise and mentor graduate and/or undergraduate students; (d) obtain external grant funding; (e) be available for August intensive doctoral on-campus courses; and (f) provide service to the unit, school, college, and university.

*This position is available August 2017*.
