As many already know, April is Financial Literacy Awareness Month. Educating others about financial literacy in higher education is one of the many passions that we all have in common. Without the hard work and dedication of people like you, this movement would not exist. For that, I say 'Thank you'

For the moment, I want to focus on two of the pioneers spearheading this movement, Phil Schuman and Bryan Ashton. For those who don't already know, Phil and Bryan are co-chairs for the National Summit on Collegiate Financial Wellness. To put into words how much they mean to financial wellness is impossible. Their work is both instrumental to the cause and crucial to fighting the student debt crisis. With NSCFW fast approaching, we sat down with Phil and Bryan to discuss the summit.
