[Natfinwellness] NSCFW Registration is Live and Other Updates

We have a lot of exciting news about the 2015 National Summit on Collegiate Financial Wellness that to report:


  *   Registration for the 2015 National Summit on Collegiate Financial Wellness is now LIVE!  You can either click on this link: https://indianauniv.ungerboeck.com/prod/emc00/register.aspx?OrgCode=10&EvtID=6774&AppCode=REG or visit www.nscfw.org to register.  The registration cost for this year’s Summit is $180 for Professionals and $100 for students.  After 6/1 the registration cost will be $225 for professionals.


  *   Pre-conference sessions have been added to the Summit schedule.  Both will be held on Sunday June 28, from 1 – 4pm. See below for details.

o    Pre-Conference: The Startup Institute ($40)

Is your institution in the process of developing a financial wellness program for your students?  The Startup Institute will help get you up to speed by providing information on financial wellness that is vital to understanding the importance of the field and how you can build effective programming at your institution.  You will have the opportunity to view critical research that indicates the need for collegiate financial wellness, learn about some of the top financial wellness programs in the country and the types of programming they offer their students, and interact with those associated with those programs to discuss ideas and form a plan for launching a program at your institution.  Snacks provided.

o    Pre-Conference: Examining Research Needs in Financial Education (Free – Thanks to our sponsors)

The future of financial wellness programming relies on research that provides insight on how to best, and most effectively, reach our students.  The premise of this pre-conference is to create a forum for attendees to share ideas about what types of research would be beneficial in helping progress the field of financial wellness.  Those looking to conduct research in the field and who want more research to help them create impactful programming should find the discussion to be valuable, as we hope it will spark great ideas for future research.  Snacks provided.

  *   Call for proposals is open and we’re accepting submissions until 3/13.  We’ve already seen some great proposals come in.
