[mvapich-discuss] Is it possible that MVAPICH2 can be configured for intel c/c++ compiler and gfortran?

Hi,

I am wondering if MVAPICH2 can be configured with icc/icpc for c/c++ 
compiler and gfortran for fortran compiler instead of ifort.

Since my in-house code's benchmark result shows better results for intel 
c++ compiler than for gnu compiler, I want to use intel compiler with 
mvapich2.

Problem is that some of the part of the code are written with fortran 
but I don't have intel fortran.

So I am considering to configure MVAPICH2 with intel c/c++ compiler and 
gfortran by setting CC, CXX and FC environment variables. Would this 
idea work to get my in-house code work?
