[mvapich-discuss] channel initialization failed

Dear ALL,

I have one problem about my c++ code. I ran my code on the cluster. The
weird phenomenon is that sometimes it works well but sometimes not. The
errors are

MPID_Init(371)..........: channel initialization failed

MPIDI_CH3I_CM_Init(1430): gethostbyname failed, Unknown host (errno 1)

I am using mvapich2 and Petsc/Tao. The versions of them are

intel/13.1,  mvapich2/2.0
petsc/3.5.2
