Thanks for the output.  It looks limic2 wasn't installed in the system
path.  Perhaps this is why the udev rules didn't take effect.

You should see a file named 10-limic.rules in your
/home/dftfunc/pausz/soft/limic2/etc/udev/rules.d directory (hopefully
that's the right path).

Install this to /etc/udev/rules.d/ on your machines if you'd like the
correct permissions to be set for /dev/limic automatically when the
limic module is loaded.
