Hi Bright,
      Thanks for reporting this error.  This seems to be specific to
the configuration flag "--disable-cxx". I was able to configure and
build 1.6rc2 without this flag.  Is there any reason why you need to
configure the library with '--disable-cxx'? Can you please try
configuring 1.6rc2 without this flag, while we work on this issue?
