Just as a suggestion, can you try MVAPICH2-0.9.8p2. It has an
integrated version of multi-rail and support for advanced InfiniBand
features.

Once you have downloaded the version, please use the compilation
instructions:

MVAPICH2 supports MPD. To use MPD please take a look at the following:
