[mvapich-discuss] Installation Problem (MVAPICH2 0.9.8p2)

Hi Adam,
Thanks for trying mvapich2-0.9.8p2. We have several Solaris machines in our lab and we don't have problem installing mvapich2. There is a set of CFLAGS defined in make.mvapich2.udapl, which sets proper platform flags. However, from your config-mine.log I didn't see the proper CFLAGS. Did you comment out the CFLAGS? If you still have problem, could you send us the make.mvapich2.udapl script you have been using?

We are trying to set up a Sun-based cluster using Solaris 10 11/06 running =
on Sun Fire x4100 & x4200 systems. When trying to compile MVAPICH2 v0.9.8p2=
, there is a flood of errors and the installation dies. Here is a short sa=

To the best of my knowledge, u_int*_t is a Linux kernel datatype, and as su=
ch is not defined in Solaris (which uses uint*_t). Is there a flag or some=
thing that i'm missing, to turn off the use of u_int*_t datatypes? I have =
uncommented everything in make.mvapich2.udapl which is flagged as Solaris-o=
nly. =20
Has anyone else here successfully set up MVAPICH2 an environment similar to=
ours?
