[mvapich-discuss] mpd.conf requirement

Hi,

I have just started experimenting with MVAPICH2 and
I am not sure what options exist for starting processes.
I see that running mpd.boot will work but this requires
that .mpd.conf file has been created beforehand.  Is
there any other way such as setting an environment
variable that tells mpiexec to use rsh/ssh to start
processes?  Also, is there any difference between
mpirun and mpiexec in MVAPICH2?
