[mvapich-discuss] mvapich2 problem

Hi,
 
I am trying to install mvapich2-0.9.8 on x86-linux system running ofed 1.1 infiniband software stack. I am able to build and install mvapich2 using  make.mvapich2.gen2 on my system. mpicc works fine. But when I try to run 
 
#/usr/local/mvapich2/bin/mpirun -ssh -np 2 -hostfile nodelist ./a.out
 
I get the following error :

/usr/local/mvapich2/bin/mpdroot: open failed for root's mpd conf filempiexec_n8: mpd_uncaught_except_tb handling:
  exceptions.TypeError: not all arguments converted during string formatting
    /usr/local/mvapich2/bin/mpdlib.py  899  __init__
        mpd_print(1,'forked process failed; status=' % status)
    /usr/local/mvapich2/bin/mpirun  231  mpiexec
        conSock = MPDConClientSock(mpdroot=mpdroot,secretword=parmdb['MPD_SECRETWORD'])
    /usr/local/mvapich2/bin/mpirun  1509  ?
        mpiexec()

can you please help me?
