[mvapich-discuss] Query on OSU latency test

Hi,

 

My name is Kartik Thathagar. And I am working with E-Infochips in Ahmedabad.

 

I have query regarding osu_latency and osu_latency_mt tests.

 

I have tried to run both the tests and on both the test I got different
results means on osu_latency I got 6.33 usec and in osu_latency_mt I got
11.82 usec for 4 bytes datasize so can you tell me why this different came?

 

So can you describe me what is the difference between these to
tests(osu_latency and osu_latency_mt)?

 

I have already read that osu_latency_mt test is multithread receiving side
tests. Let me know something more in this.
