Another possible bug report:

 

The Makefile.in in directory <root>/src/pm/mpd does not define the
CFLAGS environmental variable. As a result, the generated Makefile does
not inherit it from whatever was passed to "configure" (In our case, it
was a bunch of flags to generate and optimize code for MIPS64
architecture) and the build breaks.
