Penguin China is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our team as an editorial & publicity assistant.
Your role will involve assisting in the editorial, administrative and promotional duties required to bring to print PRH’s local publishing on and from China in the English language, including the review of submissions and potential titles for acquisition, proofreading and editing manuscripts, as well as liaising with local and overseas staff to support the effective delivery of press and publicity material, publishing deadlines and standards of quality. The role could be based in Beijing, Shanghai or Hong Kong. You'll need to be driven and able to work independently with attention to detail. English fluency required, Chinese language preferred. You will also need to be diligent and, most importantly, a lover of books!
