Chinese English Translation Symposium at NTU
Dear MCLC Members,
The Graduate Program in (Chinese English) Translation and Interpretation (GPTI) at National Taiwan University is hosting a symposium on translation and interpetation on March 26 (Saturday) and 27 (Sunday) that may be of interest to list members. For the 20th International Symposium on Translation and Interpreting Teaching, we have invited Professor Lawrence Wong at The City University of Hong Kong to give a keynote about the translation of official titles in 19th China's diplomatic relations. Several of the panel papers are about the translation of modern Chinese literature.
Hope to see you if you're in Taipei in about three weeks.
