RMMLA lit and film panel–cfp
Call for Papers: Chinese Literature and Film Since 1900 Panel(s) at 2016 RMMLA Convention
Salt Lake City, Utah.  October 6-8, 2016.
We welcome paper proposals that address a range of critical issues and themes relating to transnational Chinese literature and cinema since 1900.
Suggested topics include but are not limited to:
Identity politics: gender, ethnicity, and subjectivity;
Imagining home/land: homecoming, displacement, and border-crossing;
Sound and voices: language, dialect, accents, and music;
Transmedia adaptation: global circulation and local reception;
Please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words along with a short biography to <rmmla2016 at gmail.com> by March 1, 2016. Notice of acceptance or rejection will be sent out no later than March 15, 2016.
