Post-Doctoral Position Chinese Language and Culture
The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC) invites applications for a two-year post-doctoral position in Chinese Language and Culture beginning August 16, 2016.
Minimum Experience/Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., M.D., D.V.M., Sc.D.) in appropriate field awarded no more than five (5) years from initial date of postdoctoral appointment.
Departmental Required Skills:
Native or near-native fluency in both Chinese and English is required. Applicants must hold a PhD in Chinese Language and Culture or a related field at time of employment.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Demonstrated teaching experience in beginning and advanced Chinese as well as ability to teach courses in modern or pre-modern Chinese literature, culture and linguistics.
