I’m glad people like the film! But I guess no one has seen it explained or analyzed in a book before, correct? I wonder if anyone has studied these sorts of anti-religion films? It’s also striking how early in the PRC it was made–1952–so it was clearly a priority for the government to discredit Yiguandao right away after taking power.
