First appearance of Xila?
I would like to ask the members of the list about Xila=Hellas. The most interesting thing I've read about it is from this discussion:
In Cantonese, for example, the "xi" in Xila (Greece) is indeed pronounced as "Hei"
Does anybody know when and where the term 希腊 appeared for the first time?
