Chinese Kindle dictionary (1)

For portable devices, if one is looking beyond Kindle books, for those who have a smartphone and/or tablet running iOS or Android operating system, I think nothing beats the Pleco app, with its wonderful collection of add-on dictionaries beyond the free basic one — many Chinese-English, and English-Chinese dictionaries, as well as Chinese-Chinese, modern (e.g. Hanyu Da Cidian), ancient (e.g., Gu Hanyu Da Cidian), other European languages (e.g. Chinese-French with the Grand Ricci dictionary with 300k entries, etc.). There’s even a newly added Cantonese one!
There is audio — mainly for Mandarin but also some Cantonese.
Best,
