the original version of the poem "Voice" by Zbigniew Herbert (11) is
called "Głos". 

Głos

Idę nad morze
aby usłyszeć ten głos
miedzy jednym uderzeniem fali
a drugim

 
ale głosu nie ma
jest tylko starcza gadatliwość wody
słone nic
skrzydło białego ptaka
przyschnięte do kamienia

 
idę do lasu
gdzie trwa nieprzerwany
szum ogromnej klepsydry
przesypującej liście w czarnoziem
czarnoziem w liście
potężne żuchwy owadów
bawią milczenie ziemi

 
na pole
płyty zielone i żółte
przytwierdzone szpilkami owadzich istnień
dźwięczą za każdym dotknięciem wiatru

 
gdzie jest ten głos powinien
odezwać się gdy na chwilę
zamilknie niezmordowany
monolog ziemi

 
nic tylko szmery
klaskanie wybuchy

 
wracam do domu
i doświadczenie przyjmuje
postać alternatywy
albo świat jest niemy
albo jestem głuchy

 
ale być może
obaj jesteśmy
napiętnowani kalectwem

 
musimy zatem
wziąć się pod rękę
iść przed siebie
ku nowym widnokręgom
ku skurczonym gardłom
z których wydobywa się
niezrozumiałe bulgotanie

那些补网的无形之手，
抚摸着大海的日日夜夜。
网线折断、脱落之处，
是鱼儿饱食的年头。
这儿是捕风的圈套，
那儿是丰裕的门户

They caught the winds in their nets
And brought home a season of plenty.
The unseen hands that mend those nets
Have felt the mornings and the evenings of the sea.
