If you are at the AAS, don’t miss the Cambria Press book launch session on
Friday at 7:30 p.m. in room 407 when Nicholas Kaldis (SUNY will be
speaking about his book The Chinese Prose Poem: A Study of Lu Xun's Wild
Grass (Yecao). Ross King (University of British Columbia) whose book is
also in the Cambria Sinophone World Series will also be speaking on
Infected Korean Language, Purity versus Hybridity: From the Sinographic
Cosmopolis to Japanese Colonialism to Global English.  Series editor
Victor Mair will also be there to speak about other new books in the
series on behalf of authors Paul Manfredi (Modern Poetry in China: A
Visual-Verbal Dynamic), Alison Groppe (Sinophone Malaysian Literature: Not
Made in China), and Karen An-hwei Lee (Anglophone Literatures in the Asian
Diaspora: Literary Transnationalism and Translingual Migrations )because
they are not able to attend. These books are featured on the outside back
cover of the AAS program and you can see the books at the Cambria Press
booth #302 in the AAS book exhibit hall.
