The song featured in the Financial Times video interview with Bao Pu
forwarded by Joe Alvaro is an adaptation of "Can You Hear the People
Sing?" from the musical Les Miserables. According to Radio Free Asia
<http://www.rfa.org/english/news/china/anthem-06022014133529.html>:

<<A viral music video based on a hit number from the musical "Les
Miserables" has taken the Chinese-language Internet by storm as political
activists in Hong Kong push for the introduction of universal suffrage by
2017, when the election for Hong Kong's next chief executive is held.

Activists who commissioned the professionally produced music video
featuring a small girl singing a loose Cantonese translation of the hit
"Can You Hear the People Sing?" said they had initially approached a
number of big stars in the popular music scene, only to be turned down
owing to likely political pressure from Beijing.

"This song wasn't produced by the Occupy Central movement, but it was the
work of a lot of highly professional people who helped out in a
low-profile way," Occupy activist Chan Kin-man told RFA's Cantonese
Service after the video became an overnight Internet hit last week.>>

The viral video sung by a little girl, with complete lyrics in Chinese, is
posted on YouTube:

There is also a version <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pl3slyh8EUw> of 《問
誰
未發聲》led by veteran actor Anthony Wong (黃秋生) and Cantopop singer Hins
Cheung (張敬軒).

Anthony Wong and Olivia Yan co-founded the Dionysus Contemporary Theatre
in 2013, with Peter Shaffer's "Equus" in Cantonese translation as their
first production

They were joined by the cast of "Equus" in their rendition of 《問誰未發聲》
