Hi there,

Who can tell me what is the industry standard rate for translation of
prose and poems from Chinese to English in the United States? I was
told by my friends that the rate is $75 per poem; $100/1000 english
words for articles. Are these reasonable numbers? If the translation
includes both initial draft and editing work, what is the rate for each
of these two parts? Thanks for your help!
