UCLA Department of Asian Languages & Cultures is looking for one summer
instructor to teach a course on modern and contemporary popular culture in
China, Taiwan and Hong Kong from a cultural studies perspective. Genres
and media can include literature, print culture, cinema, martial arts film
and fiction, television, radio, pop music, visual arts, fashion,
advertising and cyber-culture. Only those with proven teaching in fields
related to Asian Languages and Cultures, and who have a Ph.D. should
