Below is a slightly revised version of the cfp posted a couple of days
ago. The key addition is the following:

Lu Xun Studies is a joint project of the International Society of Lu Xun
Studies and Brill Press; the journal has not yet been officially launched.
The journal will publish English-language research by international
scholars, in two issues annually. We are currently accepting submissions
for the inaugural issue.

Lu Xun Studies
Call for Submissions

Lu Xun Studies is a peer-reviewed English-language journal that publishes
research related to Lu Xun’s life, thought, and works, including
comparative research on Lu Xun (e.g. comparisons with other Chinese and
non-Chinese writers), translations of Lu Xun’s writings, book reviews, and
translations of scholarly articles on Lu Xun. The journal’s editorial
board consists of internationally recognized experts in the field of Lu
Xun studies.

The journal’s projected readership will be broad and international in
scope, including not only students and scholars working in the field of Lu
Xun studies, but also anyone interested in Chinese literature and culture.
The journal aims at providing an international academic platform for
scholars and readers, expanding our knowledge and understanding of the
dynamic intellectual and literary world of modern and contemporary China.

Instructions for Contributors

Lu Xun Studies is a joint project of the International Society of Lu Xun
Studies and Brill Press; the journal has not yet been officially launched.
The journal will publish English-language research by international
scholars, in two issues annually. We are currently accepting submissions
for the inaugural issue.

Lu Xun Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the
International Society of Lu Xun Studies (ISLS) and Brill, mainly focusing
on original scholarship concerning Lu Xun and his relation to modern and
contemporary Chinese literature & culture. The journal publishes
English-language research by international scholars, in two issues
annually.

Articles are reviewed anonymously by external referees. Manuscript
submissions (including notes, references, tables, etc.) should normally
not exceed 10,000 words in length. Authors should provide an abstract of
about 200 words and 3 to 8 keywords both in English and Chinese. All
manuscripts must be double-spaced and printed using 12-point font.
Documentation should follow the style recommended in sections 14.1 through
14.317 of Chicago Manual of Style 16th Edition
(http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/16/contents.html). Chinese names and
places should follow the Standard Chinese Pinyin System. Electronic
submission is acceptable. All submissions, correspondences, and books for
review should be sent to:
