Perry Link, Dick Madsen and I published a book a few days ago called
RESTLESS CHINA (Roman and Littlefield, 2013). I have a chapter in there
called "Political Humor in Postsocialist China: Transnational and Still
Funny."  I hope this is somewhat helpful even though the chapter does not
take up issues in sociolinguistics.
