Colleagues:

We have tentative plans to bring contemporary Chinese author and 2012
Nobel Literature Prize recipient Mo Yan back to the MLA, January 9-12,
2014 in Chicago.

I am soliciting titles and 250 word abstracts for at least one session on
Mo Yan's work. The topic is open. Please send proposals asap (preferably
in an MS Word attachment).

Mo Yan has not yet agreed to come, but we are hopeful he will.
