Strange, with all this talk of wives of leaders that the wife of the
leader, hardly known for her retiring nature, is not mentioned!  Very
peculiar reporting and very peculiar commentating. Some acknowledgement
that there has been a huge bias in China against women in any sort of
power because of Jiang Qing would have been a propos.
