In 2005, as part of a special issue on Chinese Culture in Inter-Asia,
co-edited by Kwai-Cheung Lo and Laikwan Pang, MCLC published a set of 12
poems by Leung Ping Kwan called "Tasting Asia 亚洲的滋味." The poems—in both
Chinese and English—express many of the characteristics of Leung Ping Kwan
that are highlighted in Didi Kirsten Tatlow's moving obituary in the New
York Times: his cosmopolitanism, his love of food, his broad understanding
of identity, his humanity. List members can download the poems, which are
