Colleagues:

Wendy Larson and I are forming a panel on Zhang Yimou's films at the Rocky
Mountain MLA annual conference in Vancouver, Washington (across the river
from Portland, OR). The conference is October 10-12, 2013.

We are seeking one additional paper to complete the panel.

Wendy's paper focuses on Zhang's film <Happy Times>. Additionally, we are
hoping to show <Happy Times> at the conference. My paper will be on
filiality in Zhang's films.

The ideal paper could focus on <Happy Times> or be a thematic treatment of
several of Zhang's films.
