Call for papers: Asian Comparative Literature and Film Panel at the 67th
Annual RMMLA Convention

October 10-12, 2013, the Hilton Hotel in Vancouver, Washington.

This panel will explore comparative studies of modern and contemporary
Asian literary and cinematic texts. The primary text of study can be in an
Asian language as well as works by ethnic Asians written in their adopted
languages. The comparisons between Asian texts from different regions
(e.g. China, Japan, Korea, Southeast AsiaŠetc.) are also welcome.

Please submit a proposal of no more than 250 words to Kazuko Osada
(osada at pacificu.edu) by March 1, 2013. Notice of acceptance or rejection
will be given no later than March 30, 2013.
