Dear MCLC List members,

If you have any students with Masters degrees who might be interested in
applying for funded Doctoral training in the UK (specifically at King's
College London, The School of Advanced Study and University College
London) in the areas of modern and contemporary Chinese Literature and
Comparative Literature (or any other area covered in the details provided)
please do forward them this notice.

The London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP) is pleased to invite
applications from outstanding candidates for AHRC/LAHP Doctoral Training
Awards for 2014-2015 entry. Up to 80 studentships are available.

The LAHP, which is funded by AHRC in the UK, brings together King's
College London, the School of Advanced Study and University College London.

If you wish to be considered for AHRC/LAHP funding for a PhD in
Comparative Literature and modern Chinese Literature (or any other area
covered by LAHP), you must first contact one of the three LAHP
institutions directly to apply for a place before the deadline.

The deadline for applications to this funding scheme is January 31st, 2014.

Please also note that these studentships are only available for those
eligible to pay UK/EU fees. Full awards (fees plus stipend) are offered to
those 'ordinarily resident' in the UK. 'Fees only' awards are available
for EU nationals.
