Subject: British women 'beaten and stranded' (2)

The story is very disturbing: "Jubril-Badmos was kept in hospital for 25
days as she could not stop vomiting after the assault and her blood
pressure soared." Vomiting is one sign of serious concussion. I sincerely
hope both of them are able to leave. This case deserves publicity. While
the police are certainly not solely to blame for the violence against
these two visitors, they are aiding and abetting this violence through
lack of due process. In effect, these women are being forced to pay for
receiving a beating.

While the circumstances are different, the dialogue in 老妈蹄花 (Laoma
tihua)
vividly depicts the potential violence of authority:

All the best,
