Hotta Yoshie (堀田善衛) has a book named Shanhai nite (『上海にて』or "In
Shanghai," 
Chikuma shobo, 1995), which has a long essay on the suicides of literary
figures in Japan and China. The title of the essay is "Jisatsu suru
bungakusha to korosareru bungakusha" (「自殺する文学者と殺される文学者」or
"Literary 
figures killed by suicide and murder"). I don't think the book is
translated yet, but most of the names mentioned in the essay should be
recognizable to readers of Chinese.
