Subject: MCAA student research submissions
*********************************************************

Dear colleagues,

I am writing as incoming Vice-President of the Midwest Conference on Asian
Affairs (MCAA). As you may know, the MCAA offers a number of prizes for
exceptional student work, and I am responsible for coordinating the prize
competition.

If you have undergrads and grad students who have written really good
papers on topics pertaining to Asian Studies in any field, could you
encourage them to submit their papers for the prizes described below?
Submissions can be emailed to me.

This year's MCAA will take place at Michigan State University. More
details are available at

Many thanks,

Arjun Guneratne
