It's in two weeks! The Center for Folklore Studies will screen the short film Ampe: Leap into the Sky, Black Girl<https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26862990/>, which follows the Ghanian jumping and clapping game ampe between the sister cities of Accra, Ghana and Columbus, Ohio. The film will be followed by a short discussion with the directors and a community talk-back session with members of the Ghanian and West African diaspora in Central Ohio. Ghanian food will be served.


This event is free and open to the public.
