[Folkserv] Save the date for the Zacher Lecture on the Intersection of Race and AI on 11/10

The Humanities Institute is excited to announce the topic of this year's Zacher Lecture:
Michele Elam, William Robertson Coe Professor in the Humanities in the Department of English at Stanford, will speak on the intersection of race and artificial intelligence, exploring how AI needs to be much more deeply integrated with the humanities and arts in order to contribute to human flourishing, particularly with regard to social justice.
Michele's presentation will be followed by a discussion between Ayanna Howard, Dean of the College of Engineering, and David Horn, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. A reception will follow.
