Hello everyone,

Tomorrow (1/18) we will host our first workshop of the semester where we will discuss Pulse Width Modulation(PWM). We'll use PWM to control the brightness of an LED and the speed of a motor in completely analog circuits. Kit materials and complementary PIZZA will both be provided.

Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Workshop

When: Wednesday, 6:00-7:30pm
Where: Scott Labs E0040

Pizza: Yes!

Registration for our biggest event of the year, MakeOHI/O 2017, is now live!!! See below for more details. Or tl;dr, visit http://make-oh.io.<http://make-oh.io./>

The club is proud to announce MakeOHI/O 2017, brought to you by Harris! Taking place the weekend of March 4th and 5th, once again in the beautiful Knowlton Hall! Makeathon alumni will know to come prepared to make something that captures the imagination, breaks technical barriers, and shows off your creative skills. In case you've never been to a Hackathon or Makeathon, don't worry-we will have plenty of resources available and people for you to work with. Seriously, no experience needed!

MakeOHI/O 2017 is this year's best hardware event at the Ohio State University. In the spirit of OHI/O's vision to build the tech culture at Ohio State, your goal is to make something new, amazing, and fun with a group of friends. You don't need to have a team, any hardware experience, or materials to make with before you register. What you do need is openness to free food, over $1,000 in prizes, and a readiness to chat with great companies. You want to register. Your friends want to register. Let's build something amazing!

Taking a note from team experiences last year, we are adding two new prize categories: Sprinters and Best Clutch. These are special awards to makers who start from scratch, bringing no hardware into the event, and makers who build an amazing project but are hindered finishing completely.
