Greetings Everyone,

This is just a reminder that there will be no meeting this week. The next meeting will be October 21st. There are some other things that you can look forward to:

Soldering Workshops:
The Electronics Club and IEEE Undergrad are hosting Through-Hole Soldering Workshops through the end of the semester. The workshops cost $15 for the materials and training. You will walk away with an understanding of how to solder as well as your own board to prove it! Sign-ups are available here<http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0f4cadac28a7ff2-fall>.

Outreach Opportunities:
Do you want to show kids how awesome engineering is? Do you want an easy way to become an Active member? The Electronics Club is organizing an outreach opportunity to Norwich Elementary to help 5th graders learn about electronics by taking them apart. This will take place on November 10th at 10am, with carpools available. Sign up here<http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0f4cadac28a7ff2-norwich> or contact Riti Joshi.258 with any questions.

If you cannot make this event or want to do more, checkout some of the cool stuff that Dr. Anderson and Clayton Greenbaum.20 do with the ECE Outreach program.<http://www2.ece.ohio-state.edu/~anderson/Outreach.html> Volunteering for outreach in the ECE Outreach program will also get you active status and let you take advantage of free parts for projects and the resume database.
