[Electronicsclub] How Are Your Projects Going?

Just wanted to get some discussion going on the group (and individual)
projects going on this quarter. I know it's the 5th week and everyone's busy
with midterms right now, but there's still time to build some cool stuff
before finals come around! I'm about to begin attempting to repair Dr.
Garbacz's 1929 RCA radio, which needs basically all the power supply
resistors replaced. It's going to be messy, but I think it's doable. I've
also made a few repairs on other equipment, and also improved the bass
response on the line-in for the radio-amplifier in the club room by adding a
0.02 uF cap in parallel with the existing 0.005 uF high pass filter cap. I'm
also going to be re-capping a Hammond organ preamp this week (from my
organ). It's needed the work for a while, and I finally got all the parts
together to do it. If anyone's interested in checking some of this stuff
out, or if you're curious as to how I'm doing it, feel free to let me know
and we can hopefully meet up sometime to work together.

Anyway, start bragging about your projects! I want to see some cool stuff
going on here!
