Greetings,

Due to a limited amount of response, the Database/Web Developer position originally posted on March 22, 2014, has been reposted with a few changes to the job description, working title, and required qualifications to allow for a broader range of applicants. OIA employees who may be interested are encouraged to apply. This position was posted in the University's Personnel Posting and will be open until July 13, 2014. The position reports to the OIA Systems Manager.

The essential job duties are:

*     Creates, develops and maintains internal and external web infrastructure, including programming of web and database systems in a windows environment
*     Works independently, develops customer relationships, and provides project leadership to ensure applications are implemented according to university specifications and department guidelines including code quality, documentation, security, and brand guidelines
*     Resolves problems in a timely manner, adheres to current policies and procedures, and assists network administrators as necessary; maintains web servers and databases; primary areas of emphasis include project management, planning, implementation, data analysis, and reporting

Required Qualifications are:

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 1 year of web development experience including patching and debugging, developing websites and databases; strong verbal and written communications skills; strong problem solving skills; required to learn Joomla and Drupal within first year of employment.
