Hi everyone,

A colleague from Chile, Moises Hasson, would appreciate it if you can
circulate this or contact him with any information.

Thanks!

We are looking for publishers interested in publishing the translation of
the book COMICS IN CHILE, the first book that covers the complete history
of Chilean comics from its origins in 1858 to the present. The text offered
is a 40,000-word work that integrates two works by the author Moises
Hasson, and that our editorial NautaColecciones published in 2014 and 2016:
COMICS EN CHILE ("Comics in Chile") and SATIRA POLITICA EN CHILE
("Political Satire in Chile"). The ten chapters goes from 1855 through
present days, with this very little known history, whose golden age were in
the years 1964 to 1974, going through the political and social ups and
downs of the country, and the surprising nationalization effort of the main
comic-book publisher during the Allende government under the Quimantu state
publisher company.

The book is currently being translated into French, and will soon be
published in France under the PLG Editions publishing house.

Along with the text, many high-quality images are provided for use in the
new edition. These range from color images with samples of covers, to black
and white images of the interior, arranged in groups on the same chapters.
For more information you can contact the publisher directly at the email
historietas.chile at gmail.com
