Please see the below invitation to the International Association of Reading Graduate Students' Spring Speaker Series at the University of Georgia:

In the midst of the pandemic, anti-Asian sentiment has been widespread. However, there have been not many chances to talk about this issue. Dr. Jung Kim and Robin Ha will be talking about how reading, discussing, and creating graphic novels can open the doors for us to think further about racial diversity. With candid talk about their lived experiences as Asian Americans, this webinar will let us think about our cultural and racial diversity. But more importantly, this webinar will be a space for solidarity, support, and healing.
